Arizona Auto Insurance Fact Sheet

Arizona Auto Insurance Requirements - State regulations requires that every motor-powered vehicle operating on Arizona's roadways be covered by auto liability insurance, or one of the statutory forms of financial responsibility. The insurer must be approved to do business in Arizona. Vehicles such as motorcycles, mopeds, and even golf carts are also included.
Minimum levels of financial responsibility are:

$15,000 for injury or death of one person per accident
$30,000 for injury or death of two or more persons per accident
$10,000 for property damage per accident
If you are stopped for a traffic violation or are involved in an accident, aw enforcement officers will ask you for proof of insurance. If your policy is cancelled, your insurer will send MVD notification. If your insurance company sends MVD such notification, you will be sent an inquiry to verify your insurance status.
