Texas Department of Insurance Highlights: The Texas Department of Insurance website
is not as well designed as other sites. The main page lists a lot of
news and the links that people may look for are on the left side. There
are only a few links, but they lead into subtopics. For instance the
company link breaks down into multiple links where one can research a
company and get information on multiple companies. The consumer help
link allows one to file a complaint or get data on an agent. The Fire
Marshal link is different than other states websites in that there is
a place to read up on arson investigations or call a hotline to report
one. Highlights: The Texas Department of Transportation
website is a very simple website. There are a few topic links that break
down into the information one may be seeking. If anyone has a question
or is seeking information on registering and titling, then they can click
on that link and it will take them to vehicle registration forms, personal
license plates, etc. The other links on the main page deal with flood
damage, purchasing a vehicle, statistics, auto-theft and education, and
driver’s
license information. There is also a link on the main page where one
can leave feedback or go to a related site |
